Though we would like nothing more than to meet every expectation you may have, there's a few promises we just can't make. Our Small town Bassin' propeller was designed specifically for use on electric trolling motors with a motor housing diameter of 3.25 inches. This typically refers to the 30 to 45 lb. thrust permanent magnet models with few exceptions. Because each and every propeller is a handmade, custom piece there may be some fitment tolerances that seem tight when compared to the stock propeller that came on your motor. This is expected and can be mitigated with a bit of backyard engineering on your part. A simple piece of sandpaper should solve those problems for you. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF SAND PAPER!
If you live in California...I'm sorry. These propellers are made with a two part urethane resin and according to the PROP-65 notice, have the potential to cause cancer and/or reproductive harm. If you don't know what the PROP-65 notice is, look it up because it's important. Especially to Californians. If you need SDS information about the materials used, reach out to me on the CONTACT US page and we will be happy to provide that to you.
We like to tell all customers about the potential performance gains by using our propeller but....we don't make any guarantees. Period. All we can tell you is that through years of testing we have found the performance to be consistent with few exceptions. These propellers are designed for light loads like kayaks and canoes. Not big boats. You are welcome to try but we cant make any promises.
We don't offer conventional warranties on our propellers because they are custom ordered by you. What we do offer is half price replacement should you-
1. Take it skydiving and forget to strap a parachute to it.
2. Use it as an obstacle in a monster truck rally.
3. Make your girlfriend mad and she throws it in the fireplace while glaring at you with "that look". You know what look I'm talking about. YOU KNOW.
4. Break it in any way you can possibly imagine.
Honestly, the only reason its still half price replacement is due to the high material cost plus packing and shipping. These things cost money so ill split it with you even though you found a new way to mistreat your propeller. All I need from you is a recognizable photo of the broken propeller to fulfill your request. Otherwise, treat it as a high performance propeller because it can and WILL break if mistreated. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask. We are pretty busy sometimes so please be patient and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for visiting with us and we hope we can make your time on the water more enjoyable than it already was.
Oh yeah, one more thing-
In no way is "Small town Bassin" or any of its affiliates responsible and/or to be held liable for damage to property or personal heath in relation to your use of our products. ENJOY!
